CDC Director

Mrs. Sally Pittman, Director of Child Development Center 

Sally has served as Director of our Child Development Center since 2000, coordinating the efforts of our staff and serving as the face of our CDC in the community. She has over 25 years of experience as an early childhood teacher and administrator and holds an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. As mother of ten, Sally brings to her position an incredible depth of "hands on" experience with lots of love

Mrs. Kathy Krechel, Assistant Director of CDC.

Kathy has taught and shared her life with the CDC's 2 year olds since 1996. She was named the Center's Assistant Director in 2007. She is nearing completion of her Early Childhood Education Certification.

Stephanie Vega

Ms. Stephanie, Church Office Administrator.

Stephanie is our church family's "secret weapon". She is our receptionist, office manager, bookkeeper, document processor, technology specialist, facility overseer, hall rental manager, and general go-to person. Stephanie is married and the mother of three children. She is a master at all she does!

Organist

Ms. Phoebe Pacleb, Organist

With over 20 years of professional experience, Phoebe Pacleb brings joy to our worship service and is enjoyed by all who attend. Much in demand as an accomplished pianist, we are truly fortunate to have such talent in our midst. She is truly skilled and gifted with piano and organ and also has a lovely voice. She and her husband Ted, who is also a member of our choir, have a daughter in college.

Director of Music, Dean

Mr. Dean Englert, LCCCUCC Director of Music 

Dean brings extraordinary life and energy to our worship program. He can be found in our choir loft, conducting, playing and singing. Originally from Rochester, NY, he is a graduate of the New England Conservatory. He has served in the Marine Corps as the Conducting Instructor of the Armed Forces School of Music and low brass instructor as well as Director of Jazz Studies at ODU. He currently and for many years is the Upper School Music Director at Norfolk Academy and can be seen (and heard) as a member of Bill Deal's Original Rhondells. Dean is often found playing for the musical productions at Chrysler Hall and the Sandler Center. His talents extend to the Tidewater Winds and numerous popular groups including the Ojay's, the Temptations, the Four Tops, and the Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey bands. He has accompanied Josh Groban, Barry Manilow, and Tony Bennett, and many more. The list goes on and on. We are very blessed to have Dean's wonderful talents and outstanding personality as head of our music program.
