Our Church Staff  is made up of several talented individuals, including:

	The Rev. Valerie Coe Lowder, Pastor Valerie has served as a U.C.C. pastor since 1998.  Prior to that, her ministry was focused on youth and students, Christian education and chaplaincy.   Valerie is a graduate of Wake Forest University (B.A.), Indiana University (M.A. in Religious Studies), and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.). A native of Florida, Valerie has lived in many parts of the United States, as well as Spain, France and England.  Pat, her husband, is a native North Carolinian, a Ph.D. chemist, and is a local patent attorney.  They have two sons.
	Mrs. Sally Pittman, Director of our Child Development Center.  Sally has over 24 years working with preschool children and has been with us since our center opened in 1993.  At the CDC she manages a staff of a dozen teachers and aids, oversees the myriad needs of the Center, fills in as necessary, and is readily available to parents.
	Mrs. Stephanie Vega, Office Secretary.  Hers is the happy voice you will hear when you call the church. Her office hours are from 8:30 – 12:30 Monday through Friday.
	Mr. Robert Branch, Custodian.  Bob is the happy person who keeps the facilities clean and in order.  He is usually either whistling or smiling as he works.  Retired from the public school system, Bob responded to an ad and was hired by the church nine years ago.  Bob says, "I thank the Lord for the opportunity to be nice to people.  I like to be nice to people.  I'm so glad I'm up and about."  Bob relies on the Lord for his strength, day by day.
